A's middle infielder Matt Fetsch originally hails from Munich, North Dakota. He missed his hometown so much, that he decided to establish a new Munich, a little closer to home. Not being very original, he decided to name it "New Munich." Matt serves as Mayor, Chief of Police, Building Inspector, Superintendent of Schools and Pastor at the local church.
It is a little known fact among the general public that, during the course of the summer, there are many highly scientific experiments that take place within the friendly confines of the A's clubhouse. One of these Hi-Tech experiments was spearheaded by A's outfielder Mark Doherty. The above photos illustrate this in-depth study of "The Crush-ability of Aluminum Cans as it Relates to the Human Forehead". It was determined, in this highly controlled experiment, that the "Crush-ability Co-efficient" is severely affected in a negative fashion by the presence of liquid, as well as the unopened nature, of the aluminum can. Look for the results of this study, compiled by Team Lab Leader Jim Hanson, to be published in an upcoming issue of "The Journal of the American Medical Association."

In light of his pending nuptuals on the 27th of the month, December 2003 has officially been declared "Brady Schwab Month", according to Ada A's Director of Player Personnel/ Player Procurement Michael Gullingsrud. Mr. Gullingsrud was not available for further comment. The above is a collage of never-before-seen candid photographs that are but a small snapshot into the illustrious A's career of Brady.
Brady will become the husband of the lovely Lyndsey Andersen in Bottineau, ND. The Ada A's give a heartfelt "Congratulations" to Brady and Lindsey!!!
On the eve of the 2004 Super Bowl, Dallas Everson animated his bold prediction: "...the game will be won on a last second field goal!!!"
As we all know, the following evening the New England Patriots won Super Bowl XXXVIII on a last second field goal.
There is no word yet as to how much money Dallas wagered on the game.
March 2004
This month's picture is from the Ada A's archives. Those familiar with A's lore have heard the Wadena Story many times over.
A youthful A's squad was playing a star-laden Wadena Chiefs nine in the semifinals of the 1996 Wadena Tournament. Behind the crafty pitching of Jim Everson, who allowed five solo homeruns, the A's emerged victorious with a 7-5 victory that went into the wee hours of the morning.
With all the establishments in town closed, the A's resorted to frozen pizzas to feed their hungry appetites. Much to the team's dismay, the oven in the motel suite was not quite in operational status. Therefore, the A's employed some resourceful methods to cook the pizzas, as demonstrated above.
Jamie Aanenson and Chris Ellingson indicate that this is the fourth pizza of the night.
April 2004
This month's pictures are again from the archives. The 1996 A's were on their way to Warroad via a remote shortcut after playing the Red Lake squad. On the way, a slight problem was encountered- one of the caravan vehicles "inexplicably" entered the deep, swampy ditch along the route. Ingenuity, will and teamwork ruled, however, as nothing could stop the A's on this day.
